Hello I'm the 2nd Scribbler

Today in class we corrected the adding integers .

[(2-6)+(-13+65)]-(32+34)=

Some more are:

-2 - (-2)=0
owe 2 owe owe 2
-2 +2=0

54-[23-(-54)]=
54-(23owe owe 54)
54- (23 add 54)
54- 77= -23

Well we also learned about multiplying Integers.

Multiplying Integers Notes

THIS MAY SEEM FAMILIAR TO SOME!!!!!!!!!!

When brackets are touching )( or kissing they multiply

(-3)(-3)= multiplying

-3-(-3)= not multiplying

-3(-3) multiplying when an integer touches a bracket

When multiplying integers

1.. Just multiply

2.. Count the – signs

even number of – signs =positive

odd number of – signs = negative

3(6)(-1)(-1)(-1)(2)(-1)=36

count the – signs EVEN

some answers to the todays homework in book B page 5 I think:

3 (-5) (4)=
3x5x4=60

1 negative sign so it's negative
=-60

(8)(-8)=

1st 8x8= 64
2nd 1 negative
odd so it's -64

ARIES I"M LETTING YOU BE THE SCRIBE SO YOU BETTER DO IT!!! Please!!

Tyler the green is hard to see. Please choose a different colour. Remember the use of colour is to show highlights. Great post.

Wow!!!These scribe posts are very descriptive, I feel like I was in your class today. You are proving to be exceptional scribers. I can't wait to see how the rest of the class tries to tackle this task.

Did you realize that the root word for scribble came from the ancient Scribe. There is a bit of grade 8 Social Studies in everything. Thanks Ms Armstorng for adding comments to our blog.
