Curious George is at a zoo. He takes a picture of a 1-metre snake beside a brick wall. When he developed his pictures, the one metre snake was 2 cm long and the wall is 4.5 cm high. What was the actual height of the brick wall in cm????

#1

every 2cm equals a meter

1meter=100cm

100m%2cm=50cm

so it would be 4.5x50=225cm

225cm equals 2.25meters

The hieght of the brick wall is 2.25meters

#2

or you could go 4.5%2=2.25

2.25x100=225cm

225cm=2.25meters

The brick wall is 2.25 meters tall.

Obviously DIon didn't read the question properly!
