(A) 3x + 6 = 21-6
- 6
(1x) 3x/3 = 15/3
x=5
3(5)+6=21
15+6=21
(B) x/8 +3=6 -3
-3
(1x) (8)x/8 = 3(8)
x=24
24/8+3=6
Option A
1. Isolate the variable
2. Cancel the interger first
3. Balance
4. Isolate the variable
5. Cancel the multiplyer or divisor 2nd
6. Balance
7. Substitute to √ answer

Great post. Good use of colour. After you post you should see what it looks like. If the colours that you have chosen are not the best ones change them to different colours.
