finding the rectangle's area you have to multiply the width and the length to get the area.
area= WxL
area= 3x5

area= 15
to find an area of a triangle you have to multiply the height and the base. You have to find the
right angle to find it's height. When it's multiplied it needs to be divided by two.

area= 1/2 HxB

area= 1/2 3x5

area= 1/2 15
area=7.5

the relationship between a triangle and a retangle is that the triangle is half of a rectangle.

of the time that is...)
