Deannia's Scribe for a Cylinder

1.)Find the volume for a cylinder, if the diameter is 8 and the height is 25.
pi r2
3.14(4)(4)
3.14x50.24
50.24x25=1256
Volume is 1256cm3. (didn't know how to do the pi r2 thingy, like how to make it in the computer.)

2.)Find the total surface area for a cylinder. You first have to find the area then you have to find the circumfrence. Were the diameter is 8 and the height is 18.
A=pi r2
A=3.14(4)(4)
A=50.24cm2

C=pi d
C=3.14(8)
C=25.12cm2

You get the total surface area by timesing 25.12 times 18 which gets you 452.16. You would then add your area twice then you would add 452.16 to get your answer. It would look like this.
50.24+50.24+452.16=552.64cm2

S0 your TSA would be 552.64cm2.
