Kirby Deannia Sachelle

1) Here are some layouts of boxes/rectangles with a volume of 8 units.

















2) This is a box divided into four different parts, and our goal is to find the percent of each one.














This section equals 12.5/100












A is made of 2 sections
12.5 + 12.5 = 25/100 = 25%

B is made of a half of a section
12.5/2 = 6.25/100 = 16%

C is made of 3 sections
12.5 + 12.5 + 12.5 = 37.5/100 = 37.50%

D is made of 2 sections plus one half of one
12.5 + 12.5 + 12.5/2 = 31.25/100 = 31.25%

What we did is divide the square into quarters then divided the quarters into halves....does that make sense??

3. How many rectangular prisms fit inside a cylinder

Answer: 6 and a little bit.

Rectangle: I dont have the measurements right now

Find the volume of each the cylinder and the rectangle, then divide the rectangle into the cylinder. you will end up with the answer 6. something.
